2010 Get-Togethers
Thanks for all the feedback about group meetings this year. It seems to have worked for most people to allocate a month each and it’s provided some diverse venues for the kids to play together. I have a few questions to streamline our meetings this year due to the age of our children now and the differing needs of support. Please submit your answers to the following questions and I’ll collate them and make the necessary tweaks to our schedule this year.
What is the best start time for your family on Mondays?
Would you prefer to meet for morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea?
For how long would you like to get-together on Monday?
For which month would you like to schedule our activities this year?

2009 Christmas Party
We are so lucky to have Mel & Grant hosting our Kids Christmas Party again this year – and the date is Sunday 20 December for Santa, lunch & swimming. Please bring a plate to share, a wrapped present for each child … and charge up your camera. Grandparents are welcome. Santa will arrive at 10.30am with a shared lunch afterwards.

North Road Playground/Founders Cafe
After a picnic and lots of running around at the playground, we went for a cuppa at Founder’s Cafe and spent more time at the playground there. Don’t forget Pam’s dessert night on Wed 28 Jan and we’ll see you at MacMillan’s next week.

2009 Schedule
It’s the beginning of a new year and for all of us, a big welcome to the terrific three’s! Birthday season has not quite finished for our group…. see you at Harvey’s pirate party and a week later you’re all invited to Poppy’s sandcastle contest on the first of February if you are in town over the long weekend. More details coming on her invitation.
This year I have split our Mum’s group meetings into months and will allocate everyone a month. It would be great if you could then decide on where you’d like Mum’s Group to meet on the available Mondays in the month (including your house if possible). Even if you can’t make it to each get-together, you’ll be able to set the location for me to list on the website. See the schedule in the menu above or click here.

Hope the weather holds for our BBQ tomorrow! Don’t forget a wrapped present for your child/ren to be passed out by Santa. The plan is Santa at around 11.30am and lunch around 12 noon with swimming after lunch.
We will have some Monday mornings free while we attend parties on Sundays for the next couple of weeks.
