Isaac update

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Isaac and Nadine at playgroup – and Nadine may not make her own dessert night next month as that’s right around her due date! Here is a recent photo of Isaac:
Isaac

Nadine also says: He’s very much a boy into everything motor related. Hope everyone is well – say hi to all for us. I’m finishing work in about a month so can start popping in at coffee group again.

Mel’s House

Thanks to Mel, Grant & Harvey for a lovely morning in Mapua.

There is a possibility Monday morning will be wet – however, if we are lucky enough to have a clear morning, we’ll see you at the Tahuna playground.  Normally we park near the whale and then drift from one end to the other!  After a wet weekend, I’m hoping for a couple of hours of clear sky on Monday morning.

Saxton Field

Let’s try for another chance to ride bikes together as the weather forecast looks beautiful. Meet at the carpark where we had our antenatal classes and we’ll play at the new playground built there. Bring your bike to have a blat around the circle and Poppy will bring her ball to have a kick around.

Next week we will meet at Mel’s in Mapua…. see you there!

Saxton Field

The weather looked a little ominous, but ended up being mild and dry at the Saxton Field playground this morning.  I’ve never been there before and was really impressed with the playground and space around it.  I’d like to arrange a play morning next week where we can bring bikes for the kids to ride around the circle path bordering the playground.  There is also a picnic table under a sailcloth so it is a really nice new little playground to add to our list.  Let’s meet over at Bunnings indoor playground and have a coffee before regrouping across the road for some outdoor activity on bikes!

Poppy and I were the only ones up for soccer this morning so the photos are of her…

Next get-togethers:
Sep 8: Bunnings Cafe then Saxton Field playground – bring your bike!
Sep 15: Riverside Park with coffee at Suter Gallery
Sep 22: Mel in Mapua
Sep 29: Tahuna Beach Playground
Oct 6: Whitnie: Atawhai (address will be emailed)

McMillan’s Cafe

I’m planning to take Poppy along to Saxton Field tomorrow morning to watch some of the Secondary School Girls Soccer tournament.  I’m assuming there will be lots of games going on and we will walk around to different games and then have a kick around with our own soccer ball.
